THE BRITISH EMBASSY

Assistant Management Officer
Main purpose of the job: This is a dual role which will involve acting as Assistant Network Administrator and performing other general administrative duties.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- To assist in the maintenance of the Embassys computer system under the direction of the Embassys Senior Network Administrator.
- To provide leave cover for the Senior Network Administrator.
- To work as part of a team ensuring the smooth operation of the Embassys Management Section. These duties will include:
- Accounts work
- Drafting communications
- Answering queries
Requirements:
- Experience with computers in a Windows NT environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office application software
- High level of numerical ability
- Current Z visa is essential and applicant must confirm length of validity of visa in application
Note: Network Administration training will be provided but applicants should be sufficiently computer literate to undergo such training
Salary: RMB 12,381 net per month
